Roche employees in the UK are committed to improving the lives of those less fortunate and many take part in the annual Children's walk, funds raised from which go to projects supporting children in Malawi who have been orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS.

The most recent event took place in December 2008, when UK 70 employees participated in the annual walk, raising £1,941.84 for the children in Malawi.  The total amount raised was also matched by Roche and those funds were donated to the Roche UK charity of the year for 2008 - the Willow Foundation.
